FAQ20 Nov 2002 Q: Why is the Linux rsync of large files having problems? A: If you are copying large files using rsync under Linux ADSL and have problems, consider changing your MTU setting. eg. add an MTU setting of 1492 to /etc/ppp/peers/adsl and this should improve downloads of multi-100mb files. |
